Leave a Review and You Could Win a Free Book!

Leave a review

Have you read one (or more) of our books? If so, we would love for you to leave a review! This helps others determine whether a particular book will be useful, interesting, or valuable to them.

Right now, for a limited time, when you leave a review you will be entered into a drawing to receive a FREE BOOK!

All you have to do is visit the Gospel Armory Store online, find the book you wish to review, scroll down to where you see “Reviews,” and submit your review (be sure to include your name and email address so we can contact you if you win). Your review can be just a sentence or two, or as long as you wish.

Plus, the more reviews we receive, the more books we will give away. We will give away at least one book (even if we only receive one review). But for every ten reviews submitted, we will give away one additional book to another winner.

If you want to leave a review for more than one book, that’s even better! You can review as many books as you like (but please limit it to books you’ve read or previewed in some way*). Each new review will count as one entry into the drawing (you won’t be eligible to win more than one book, but you will increase your odds of winning with each additional review).

To be entered into the drawing to receive a free book, all you need to do is submit your review(s) in the Gospel Armory Store between now and the end of November. Then on December 1st, the winner(s) will be chosen. The winner(s) will then be contacted and can choose ANY BOOK we’ve published as their free book.

So leave a book review (or two, or more) between now and November 30, 2021 for your chance to receive a FREE BOOK from Gospel Armory!

* Reviews that are very generic or vague (such as “Good book” or “It was OK”) will not be eligible for the drawing. The review has to indicate that you actually read or previewed the book.

NEW RELEASE: Memoir of Jacob Creath, Jr.

We would like to announce our newest title – Memoir of Jacob Creath, Jr. by Phillip Donan – is now available.

Memoir of Jacob Creath, Jr. (cover)Jacob Creath, Jr. (1799-1886) played an important role in the first part of the Restoration Movement in the 19th century. Though his name is not as well-known as men like Alexander Campbell, Barton W. Stone, and “Raccoon” John Smith, Creath labored alongside of these men in trying to point people back to the Bible. He spent much of his life laboring in Missouri while also traveling to other states to preach and was the first to preach “the primitive gospel” in St. Paul, Minnesota.

This Memoir of Jacob Creath, Jr. was compiled by Phillip Donan. It also includes a brief biographical sketch of Creath’s uncle, Jacob Creath, Sr. (1777-1854).

NEW RELEASE: The Root of the Problem: Why We Sin & How We Can Overcome (Second Edition)

We are happy to announce that our newest book – The Root of the Problem: Why We Sin & How We Can Overcome (Second Edition) by Andy Sochor – is now available!

Jesus Christ came to set us free from the bondage of sin (Romans 6:3-6; John 8:34-36). Yet many Christians are content to remain enslaved to it. They have been convinced that we can never defeat sin; therefore, they have resigned themselves to the belief that they will always struggle with it.

Yet the Bible does not present the removal of sin from one’s life as an unattainable ideal but as a realistic goal. Paul said there is a way of escape for every temptation (1 Corinthians 10:13). Peter spoke of what one needs to do so that he will never stumble (2 Peter 1:10). John wrote so that we may not sin (1 John 2:1). Jesus told the woman allegedly caught in adultery, “Go. From now on sin no more” (John 8:11).

But how can we successfully remove sin from our lives? We first need to understand the reasons why we sin so we can learn how to find the way of escape. This material has been written to help each one of us overcome sin, rather than struggling with it perpetually.

The second edition also contains questions at the end of each chapter to aid in personal and group Bible studies. There is also an appendix at the end with additional articles related to sin and temptation.

NEW RELEASE: Walking the Narrow Way

We are happy to announce that our newest book – Walking the Narrow Way: A Collection of Essays about Pursuing Holiness and Walking in a Worthy Manner before the Lord by Luci Partain – is now available!

Walking the Narrow Way (cover)Download a sample of the book!

In the Sermon on the Mount, Jesus described two paths that are before each one of us. There is a broad way that leads to destruction and a narrow way that leads to life. The Lord has called us to follow Him down the narrow way, though there are few who will take that path.

In this book, sister Luci Partain discusses this narrow way. Through this collection of essays, she explains what the life of a disciple will look like – pursuing holiness, focusing on what is important, and learning to be like Jesus. As many choose to follow the broad way, we need to be different from the world and keep walking the narrow way.

NEW RELEASE: Church Leadership

We would like to announce our newest title – Church Leadership by Donald Townsley – is now available.

Church Leadership (cover)By the Lord’s design, local churches are to be overseen by elders – mature, faithful men who would shepherd the flock in that place. This is a vital work. Sadly, though, many churches are lacking qualified men who are able to fill this role.

Donald Townsley (1931-2013) labored as a preacher of the gospel of Christ for over fifty years. Recognizing the lack of qualified, godly leadership in churches and the problems that come from that deficiency, he put together this material on the work of elders. His simple and straightforward outline of the topic will help men prepare themselves for this work and help congregations identify and develop elders among them.

There are questions at the end of each lesson to aid in personal and group studies of this material.
