Gospel Armory has published over 150 books since its beginning in 2010. We generally publish materials written by those associated with churches of Christ. We have three different publishing options depending on your needs. The following chart summarizes these three options. Scroll down for more information.
NOTE: All pricing is for PAPERBACK books (minimum 40 pages, 6×9 trim size, black and white pages, full-color cover).

Which option is right for you?
Standard Publishing – Anyone who has written a book, class material, collection of articles, etc. that they want other brethren to be able to use, but does not need to have the book completed by a certain time.
Premium Publishing – Anyone who has written a book, class material, collection of articles, etc. that they want other brethren to be able to use, but also needs to have the book completed in a timely manner to be available for a Bible class or some event.
Private Publishing – Anyone who has written a book they want to have printed, but not made available to others. Churches may use this option to produce materials for special classes, annual themes, supplemental content for Gospel Meetings or Vacation Bible Schools, congregational history, and more. Can be used by camps or other groups to create lecture books. Basically, this option is for any individual, congregation, or group who wants to produce a book only for personal or private use.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
BASE COST – This includes page layout for up to 80 pages and cover design. With premium and private options, setup for additional pages is $25 per 20 pages. Complex layouts may require additional setup time and incur an additional cost.
DISCOUNT FOR BOOKS – The discount for books with the standard or premium publishing options is based on the retail price of the book. Retail price is determined by Gospel Armory based on production costs.
BOOK PRICES FOR PRIVATE PUBLISHING – The book price with the private publishing option starts at $6 each with up to 80 pages (not including the 25 books included in the base price). Printing cost for additional pages is $0.50 per book per 20 pages, rounded up (Example: A book with 140 pages will cost $7.50. A book with 150 pages will cost $8.00.)
TIME FRAME – The time frame for standard publishing (6-12 months) is approximate. It may be shorter or longer depending on our current publishing queue and the complexity of the book. The time frame for premium and private publishing (2-3 months) is dependent upon the author reviewing a proof copy and submitting changes in a timely manner.
ROYALTIES – With the standard and premium publishing options, the author has the option of receiving royalties (10% of the retail price for books sold, not including books ordered by the author). Royalties are paid once a year. If the author declines the option to receive royalties, Gospel Armory reduces the retail price and passes the savings on to the customer.
