Nancy and her husband, Ron, of 48 years, live in the valley of the sun with their two children, Zachary and Alice. Ron and Nancy have decided, as a result of the current health crisis, that neither was meant to homeschool Reading, Writing & Arithmetic, and should stick to the Golden Rule & the words expressed in Luke 10:27 “…And he (Jesus) answering said, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy strength, and with all thy mind; and thy neighbor as thyself.”
What Matters To Me is a collection of poems which reflect the joy, pain, and experiences of life – all from the perspective of a woman who is rooted in faith and hope in the Lord. As the author writes from her experiences, she gives voice to the emotions that are common to us all. In her verses about spiritual truths, she provides an opportunity for the reader to remember God – His promises and His blessings – and join in praise and thanksgiving to Him. There is something in this collection that will speak to everyone, providing inspiration to keep pressing on and giving comfort in knowing that we’re not alone in this journey of life.

Foy E. Wallace, Jr. (1896-1979) was one of the most influential preachers among churches of Christ in the twentieth century. In 1950 he started publishing Torch, a personal periodical consisting mainly of his own writings. He continued publication for twelve issues. Through this magazine he addressed such issues as premillennialism, modernism, sponsoring churches, institutionalism, and more. He also wrote about his labors as he traveled to various places across the country to preach the gospel. With the Biblical teaching and historical information contained in it, this volume is a valuable resource for brethren today in studying the Scriptures and understanding the issues which affected brethren of Wallace’s day.
Tolbert Fanning (1810-1874) was one of the early figures in the Restoration Movement and had a strong impact on brethren in the South. He began preaching early in his life and at one point traveled with Alexander Campbell, preaching through Ohio, Canada, and New England. He established Franklin College near Nashville and co-founded the Gospel Advocate, a journal that continues to be published today.
