“The Root of the Problem” – Now Available for Pre-order

What Is This Book About?

This book deals with the universal problem of sin. In particular, it is about how Christians can overcome sin as we have been called to do. Whenever we sin, it is because we have made the choice to do so.

Why do we make that choice to sin? There are many reasons why we sin. If we hope to overcome sin, we must recognize the reasons we choose to sin and learn how to overcome and choose to do what is right. This book contains chapters dealing with various reasons why we sin:

  • Failing to see sin for what it is
  • Ignorance
  • Deception
  • Rebellion
  • Arrogance
  • Peer Pressure
  • Impatience
  • Materialism
  • Curiosity
  • Not filling our lives with good things
  • Failure to prioritize
  • Difficult circumstances
  • Making sin a habit
  • Lack of self-control
  • Lack of urgency
  • Lack of love for man
  • Lack of love for God
  • No fear of God

All of these can be reasons why we sin, but they are not excuses for sin. So these chapters not only discuss the reasons for sin, but also what we can do combat them so that we can remove sin from our lives.

Things are coming together here at Gospel Armory. The website is up and running (though still partially under construction) and our first book, The Root of the Problem: Why We Sin & How We Can Overcome, will be available for pre-order soon ahead of the scheduled release date of November 30th.
